Maximum Distance Covered in an Electric Car by an Individual
The record for the maximum distance covered in an electric car by an individual was set by Srikanth Kadam from Bengaluru, Karnataka, an employee of SAP Labs India Private Limited. He embarked on the round-trip journey on August 15, 2024, from the SAP Labs Campus in Bengaluru, driving a Tata Nexon EV through 15 states of India, and returned to Bengaluru on September 7, 2024, covering a total distance of 8,513 km. This project, titled the Green Drive Initiative by SAP, aimed to raise awareness about electric vehicles (EVs) and sustainability, as confirmed on October 25, 2024.
