Largest Mosaic of Swachh Bharat Logo Made Using Compressed Plastic Bales
The record for making the largest mosaic of Swachh Bharat Logo using compressed plastic bales was set by CII Yi Bengaluru, Karnataka. CII Young Indians, Plastic Fischer, Orion Mall and Mohammed Maaher Ahmed spearheaded an environmental initiative to raise awareness about ocean plastics and their harmful environmental effects. To commemorate Gandhi Jayanti on October 2, 2024, they created the largest mosaic measuring 84.4 x 48.1 feet of the Swachh Bharat Logo using plastic waste collected from the rivers and coast of Mangaluru by Plastic Fischer. This initiative aligns with the Swachh Bharat programme promoting the reuse, reduction, and recycling of plastics, as confirmed on October 2, 2024.
