5 Extraordinary Human Strength Records You Won’t Believe Are Real

What does it truly mean to be strong? For most of us, strength is measured in the small victories like lifting a heavy suitcase, opening a stuck jar lid, a long run, and other accomplishments of this kind. Then there are those individuals who have surpassed the predefined limits of human strength. And at the India Book of Records, we have been lucky to witness many such talented kids, teens, and individuals who have redefined the very concept of human potential.

Here are five extraordinary strength records from around the country that prove that the human body, when pushed by an extraordinary mind, has no virtual limit.

Little Hands Performing Big Wonders

At 21 months old, a toddler usually walks and runs, learns to climb stairs, and curiously identifies his surroundings. But this little toddler is in a different league of her own. Radhika S. Gadiya  (born on August 23, 2023) of Bengaluru, Karnataka, set a wonderful record of being the youngest to push an electric car.

At the age of 1 year, 9 months, and 24 days, this tiny bahubali literally pushed an electric car (MG Comet EV Excite, 817 kg) in neutral position from the rear side, using both her hands and the support of her tiny feet for a short distance in 1 minute and 24 seconds. This record attempt was performed under the careful supervision of her father.

The record for being the youngest to push an electric car was set by Radhika S. Gadiya (born on August 23, 2023) of Bengaluru, Karnataka. She pushed an electric car in neutral position from the rear side with both her hands for a short distance in 1 minute and 24 seconds (under the supervision of her father), at the age of 1 year, 9 months, and 24 days, as confirmed on June 16, 2025.

Conquering The Waves Fearlessly

Kiuchenghan Phukon of Charaideo, Assam, at the age of 7 years, 11 months, and 30 days, set out in the open sea to conquer its untamable waves and successfully achieved it as well. She became the youngest open-water swimmer to swim from Elephanta Island to the Gateway of India. She completed the 12-kilometre open-water swim from Elephanta Island Jetty to the Gateway of India, Maharashtra, in 3 hours and 29 minutes. She set this incredible record on February 4, 2026.

She proved that if you set your mind to it, then even deep waters can’t scare you. You just have to focus single-mindedly on your goal, and your body will comply.

Bending The Body According To Will

Bend it like Beckham has become an old saying for us. Now we go with- Bend it like Arshdeep. And we have all the right reasons to say so. Arshdeep of Sirsa, Haryana, set a new testament of physical strength and endurance. At the age of 14 years, 4 months, and 21 days, she set the record for performing the Eka Pada Sirsasana yoga pose for the longest duration. In this complex yoga pose, one has to put one leg behind their head, and Arshdeep retained this position for a duration of 15 minutes.

This unbelievable record by the Haryanvi teen is a living proof of the insane capabilities of the human body. One simply has to act upon what their mind thinks is possible, and over time, the body adheres to it, just like it did for Arshdeep.

When the Leg Day Is Taken Seriously

Satying is good physical shape is a priority for many of us. Going to the gym is a commonly used alternative to achieve this goal. Leg days are one of the most dreaded days among gym goers. But it is not so for Himanshu Sharma.

This record holder from Delhi has legs of steel, and using them, he set the mind-blowing record of lifting the maximum weight by an individual in the leg press category. He lifted a massive weight of 540 kg in the leg press category (on a machine). And this doesn’t end here. He went on to perform 8 repetitions in a short duration of 12 seconds. He surely took his leg days more seriously than others.

54 Hours Of Grit And Endless Endurance

There are some journeys which are to be made alone. These journeys test your ability to endure the difficult terrains and your body’s strength. Sometimes such journeys set records. Shivgeet Singh Hooda from Gurugram, Haryana, also set out on a lone journey, which helped him set a phenomenal record. He became the fastest to complete a solo motorcycle expedition from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.

He began this exhilarating solo expedition from Srinagar on April 1, 2026, at 4:27 AM on a BMW GS 1200 bike and concluded it in Kanyakumari at 11:11 AM on April 3, 2026. He covered a total distance of 3,696.7 km in 54 hours and 44 minutes. He crossed many major cities, including Delhi, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. His record makes it quite evident that developing physical endurance can aid in achieving what people usually believe can’t ever be achieved.

At the India Book of Records, every record tells a story that numbers alone can’t capture. Behind each weight lifted, each vehicle pushed, every stroke made while overcoming unruly waves, each body part pushed beyond the limit, there are years of sacrifice, training, and relentless self-belief.

These five superhuman feats are not just a testament to human physical strength. These are documented, verified, and preserved for history that the human body, when guided by an unbreakable will, is still capable of breaking human potential barriers.
