The record for making the smallest vacuum cleaner was set by Tapala Nadamuni (born on July 30, 2001) of Seshamanaidu Kandriga, Andhra Pradesh. He made a vacuum cleaner (2.2 cm/0.9 inch) using 7V (DC) motor, pen cap to hold equipment, net cloth to filter dust particles, eraser to support and hold the motor, metal sheet for the propeller, syringe to make knob, and rubber tape as a sealing device to prevent the entry of air from the sides. The device caught the small paper pieces when turned on, as confirmed on September 22, 2020.
