The record for the maximum hcps taking an online pledge for dietary salt reduction was set by Micro Labs, Bengaluru, Karnataka. A total of 12156 doctors (Cardiologists, Consultant Physicians, General Physicians) across India took the pledge with the help of Baton to create awareness on dietary salt reduction, (started on May1, 2024 and ended on May 31, 2024) as excess dietary salt consumption is one of the major reasons for Hypertension as confirmed on June 1, 2024.
