The record for making the smallest spinning wheel was set by Jayant Natthuji Tandulkar (born on October 11, 1976) of Nagpur, Maharashtra. He made a spinning wheel (measuring 3.20 mm in length, 2.68 mm in width and 3.06 mm in height), weighing 40 milligrams, using wooden a stick, steel wire and cotton thread, as confirmed on May 1, 2021.
