The record for being the youngest chef to win silver medals at the Culinary Olympics held in Stuttgart, Germany, was set by Yeshwanth Kumar Umasankar (born on September 4, 2003) of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He won 4 silver medals and 4 certificates for his outstanding performance in Live Carving, Carving Fruit and Vegetable, Pastry Artistic (Pastillage) and Pastry Artistic (Gum Paste) at the Culinary Olympics, held once every four years in Germany, at the young age of 16 years, 5 months and 15 days, as confirmed on December 2, 2020.
