The record for being the youngest Chadar trekker was set by Manav K Peswani (born on February 9, 2001) of Mysore, Karnataka. He successfully completed the 40 km trekking expedition, over frozen Zanskar River in Leh Ladakh with temperatures below minus 25 degree Celsius, from Shingra Koma to Tibb Cave and back in 4 days between the period January 7 to January 14, 2020, at the age of 18 years, 11 months & 16 days, as confirmed on January 25, 2020.
