The record for being the youngest archer to win a District Level championship was set by Sharanya Minil Sonawane (born on September 4, 2012) of Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, at the young age of 7 years, 3 months and 17 days. She scored 342 points out of 360 and secured 1st position in U9 Sub-Junior Archery Championship 2019-2020 on December 21, 2019. She used recurve bow throughout the entire attempt at a distance of 10 metres. The record stands confirmed on February 13, 2020.
