The record for creating unique ship models was set by a septuagenarian Anwar Hussain Baig (born on November 30, 1940) of Mumbai, Maharashtra at the age of 79 years and 2 months. He created seven ship models using discarded items such as artist brushes, ice cream spoons, tooth picks, wooden strips, stirring sticks, canvas cloth and domestic beads for making pulley, as confirmed on February 15, 2020.
