B. V. Panduranga Rao (born on September 20, 1944) of Vidyaranyapura, Bangalore is a cartoonist by Hobby and has won many National and International awards in his field. He has created a Desk Calendar-2012 measuring 2 cm X 2 cm with pages of 12 thought provoking cartoons on Environment. This Tiny Calendar has total 14 pages with cartoons printed on each page of calendar month including autographed caricature of former President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. All the pages are fixed to a support with wire binding which can be flipped to other side. He got this idea to create this Calendar on October 15, 2011 and finished it on October 22, 2011.
