Mona Raju Vipani, a 39-year old woman lawyer from Salem, Tamil Nadu continuously aplied mehendi, on 121 hands of women from finger tip to elbow during 24 hours heenaart marathon. She began her marathon effort at 6 p.m. on September 12, 2009 and ended it at 6 p.m. on Septemeber 13, 2009 taking just a 30 minute break between 10.30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Sunday. She applied on 121 hands and palm of women during her 24 hour marathon attempt event was organized by the Salem Gujarati Samaj.
