Radio City 91.1 FM created the tallest golu, on October 24, 2012, at Plaza Mall in Chennai, and named it ‘Namma City Golu’. It measured 36.4 ft in height and contained a total of 3,662 dolls. It marked the social initiative undertaken by the station which collected and distributed a large number of dolls amongst orphaned children on the occasion of Dussehra. They were felicitated for their achievement on February 27, 2013, at Record Breakers Festival, at Indira Gandhi Kala Kendra, Noida, UP.
