The record for making the smallest Durga mandap using matchsticks was set by Suvradip Shee (born on April 30, 2002) of Howrah, West Bengal. He made a beautiful mandap (measuring 30 cm x 22 cm) with the idols of Goddess Durga, Goddess Laxmi, Goddess Saraswati, Lord Ganesha, Lord Kartikeya and Mahishasura using matchsticks, as confirmed on October 7, 2020.
