The record for carving out the smallest diya on a pencil lead was set by Manchikanti Hima Bindu (born on June 1, 1995) of Krishna, Andhra Pradesh. Besides carving out the diya (measuring 2mm in height and 3mm in width), she also carved out 43 lamps on 43 different pencil leads, at the age of 25 years, 5 months and 22 days, as confirmed on November 23, 2020.
