The record for making a peacock with coconut shells was set by Devi Prasad Dash (born on July 2, 1981) of Bhubaneswar, Odisha. He made the large sized Peacock Craft (measuring 5 feet x 2.8 feet) by using white and brown coloured coconut shells in 35 days. He cut the shells, using special tools, and joined the parts using adhesive. Later, he painted the peacock with eco-friendly colours, as confirmed on August 25, 2020.
