
K.V. Ramanamurty (and born on December 3, 1943), popularly known as ‘Kotagummam’, of Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, created a fountain pen, measuring 3.5 cm in length and weighs 1.7 gms, in three days and completed it on April 2, 2008, in Andhra Pradesh. He used ebonite and 2.22 carat gold for the nib of the pen, and engraved the pictures of Mother India and Mahatma Gandhi on it. He has also made another pen measuring 4.5 cm.
