The record for achieving the maximum number of international and national ranks and certificates in one year was set by Acharya Nagarjuna University (a public university established in 1976) of Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. The university achieved 22 ranks and two certificates from September 2019 to August 2020. The university received 15 international & seven national rankings as well as two international certificates from reputed organisations like Times Higher Education, QS I-Gauge, NIRF, Education World, India Today, The Week, as confirmed on August 20, 2020.
