The record for making the maximum number of portraits of heavenly deities was set by Basavaraj Hanamappa Hadapad (born on June 1, 1985) of Vijayapura, Karnataka. He made 24 portraits including ten pencil sketches and 14 paintings using paper, pencil, ballpoint pen and acrylic colours. The majestic portraits (of varying sizes) include sketches and paintings of Lord Ganesha, Lord Shiva, Lord Hanuman and Sai Baba of Shirdi, as confirmed on September 18, 2020.
