The maximum number of people participating in a virtual event on environmental awareness is 2317 and this record was set by the Jatayu Charitable Trust, an NGO based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The trust had conducted a virtual competition on environmental awareness for teachers and students, wherein 2317 participants had registered. Out of these 2317 participants, 1704 students and teachers submitted their videos and images offline for different topics, including wealth out of waste, Rangoli, hidden talent and 613 students had participated in a live drawing event, as confirmed on October 28, 2020.
