The record for playing the maximum number of musical instruments was set by Advita Gaurav (born on April 1, 2009) of Bengaluru, Karnataka. She played 15 musical instruments, namely guitar, drums, keyboard, djembe, cajon, Carnatic flute, ukulele, violin, mouth organ, kalimba, harmonium, melodica, bingo, xylophone and tambourine, at the age of 11 years, 5 months and 13 days, as confirmed on September 14, 2020.
