The record for writing the maximum number of Emordnilap words was set by M.Sanvika (born on April 7, 2015) of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. She wrote 50 words that read as other words when spelled backward namely war- raw, tip- pit, are-era, wed-dew and many others in 4 minutes and 37 seconds, at the young age of 5 years, 8 months and 7 days, as confirmed on December 14, 2020.
