A total of 340 students, 48 teaching and non teaching staff of Nikita Matriculation Higher Secondary School and Nikita International School of Studies, Thekkalur, Tirupur, Tamil Nadu, created a pencil sketch measuring 900 meters in length and 10 inches in breadth in 4 hours, starting at 10 am and concluding at 2 pm, on September 6, 2012, at their school premises. The pencil sketch was made on the concept of ‘Nurture Nature to Ensure Secured Future’ and emphasized on the preservation of nature.
