Maendra Jocelino Araujo Alvares of Goa has chiseled a laterite rock to create the sculpture of Meerabai, the immortal devotee of Lord Krishna on September 5, 1994. The sculpture measuring 14m×5m was completed after 30 days continuous work and he entitled the sculpture ‘The Natural Harmony’ with the motive to enhance the beauty of Goa.
