The longest Chess marathon for 53 hours & 17 minutes was organised by District Mandi Chess Association at the Baggi, Distt Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. During the marathon, Hitesh Azad and Hans Raj Thakur set a record and played 303 Blitz games between 1:33 pm on April 4, 2019 and 6:50 pm on April 6, 2019. The marathon aimed to inspire the voters for Lok Sabha elections.
