Nikhil Gehlot (born on July 29, 1993), a student from Jodhpur, Rajasthan, has created a 70.5 feet long bridge model using 28,000 straw, conceptualized on connecting Mumbai Bandra Worli Sea Link and Jaiozhou Bay Bridge, China. It was created using straws (each measuring 25 cm),  within the duration of 16 days, by working 9 to 10 hours regularly, starting from May 21, 2012 to June 5, 2012. The bridge named ‘THE NIKSTRAW BRIDGE MODEL’ by the creator, consists of 95 pillars and was displayed at an event organized by The Royalhawks United Club, on June 10, 2012, at Gaushala Maidan, Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
