Lotus Laps High School of Dilshuk Nagar, Hyderabad made the largest flag of India sized 1947 ft x 4 ft. It was made on August 14, 2010 by a team of two students, named G. Balakrishna and Shekhar who were helped by their Principal, Mr. K. Gopal Reddy in making this gorgeous accomplishment. It took one week to complete this flag. The flag was displayed at Mini tankbond, Saidabad, Hyderabad. The flag was held by 6000 students, who were standing for about half a kilometer on road side. Carrying the flag in hands, these students shouted the slogan, ‘Jai Bharat Mata Ki, Jai – Jai Hind’.
