The record for making the largest fire and smoke painting on paper was set by Simanta Gogoi (born on August 22, 2002) of Dibrugarh, Assam. He drew the picture of Kolaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha using smoke from a lamp on separate chart papers which were later joined together into one painting. The full-size painting (measuring 7 feet × 5.9 feet) was completed on June 20, 2020 in 4 hours, as confirmed on August 22, 2020.
