Largest Cheraw Dance (Bamboo)

The State Government of Mizoram organized a largest Bamboo dance, which is also known as largest Cheraw dance on March 12. 2010. There was an impressive attendance of 10, 736 dancers of all age group at a time. In Aizawl, capital of Mizoram, there is no venue big enough to hold so many people at one time. However, the people managed to do it. A clever and picturesque solution was to position 2518 performers at the Assam Rifles Ground. 95000 watt sound system was positioned at the center of the Assam Rifles Ground and music was played by a live orchestra. 43 LMT Horns were installed along the 3 kilometers streets to allow everyone to hear the music
