The largest button mosaic measuring 88 sq.m (11m X 8m), was made by 250 students of ARJ College of Engineering and Technology, Thiruvarur, Tamil Nadu, by using 1,150 kg of shirt buttons, on March 12, 2012, at the premises of ARJ Group of Institutions. They used 9,00,288 pieces of buttons including 5 colors. The mosaic was completed in 11 hours 30 minutes and conveyed the the message of “Plant Trees Prevent Global Warming”.
