The record for carving out the maximum number of basic Kathakali dance mudra names on pencil leads was set by Sarga S. Kumar (born on November 11, 2001) of Vadakara, Kerala. She carved out the names of 24 basic Kathakali dance mudras (hand gestures) on 24 different pencil leads using a surgical blade, as confirmed on September 1, 2020.
