The record for making an innovative portrait of Dr. Bhupen Hazarika, along with his biography, was set by Ajoy Sarmah (born on April 16, 2000) of Lakhimpur, Assam. The portrait (measuring 6.1 feet in height and 3.7 feet in width) was made with the help of white art paper, black pen and black marker, as confirmed on September 15, 2020.
