The record for carving out the names of maximum number of freedom fighters on pencil leads was set by Uppala Mohan Krishna (born on November 29, 2000) of Satamrai, Telangana. He carved out the names of 30 freedom fighters including Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Vallabh Bhai Patel, Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, Ashfaqullah, Mangal Pandey, Rani Laxmi Bai on 30 different pencil leads, as confirmed on August 13, 2020.
