Sufyan Shaikh (born on July 11, 1990) of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, is the first person to have swum across the 10 famous seas across the globe, including Persian Gulf, Arabian Sea, North Sea, Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, Mediterranean Sea, Adriatic Sea and Indian Ocean, within the duration of 3 years, 6 months and 10 days, starting from March 10, 2004 to October 28, 2007. He performed 10th swim in the East China Sea in 2011 World Aquatic championship held in China.
