The record for the first interstate cycling expedition by a differently-abled was set by Akshay Singh (born on June 6, 1994) of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, wherein he travelled from Kanpur to Delhi, on a non-geared cycle, covering a distance of 397 km in 4 days. He commenced his ride from Kanpur on August 25 and concluded in Delhi on August 29, 2019. This record stands confirmed as on September 16, 2019.
