The record for empowering women through martial art of swordfight was set by Sonalba Padhiyar (born on December 12, 1984) of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Since 2016, she along with her colleague managed to provide sword-fighting training to 314 women in Rajasthan and Gujarat under the banner ‘Baisa Raj Talwarbaji Group’. The record stands confirmed on July 27, 2019.
