Chandrasekaran R.(born on May 1, 1964) of Chennai has made a record by making statue from a single black granite rock. He has sculptured the full size Michael Jackson Statue in his signature dance move (Height-10ft, Width – 5.5ft, Depth – 4ft). The statue weighs 3.5 tons and it took 45 days of conscientious effort round the clock by 6 highly experienced granite monument craftsmen of RC Golden Granites to sculpt it by hand at their factory in Chennai. Mr. Chandrasekaran is managing director of R.C Golden Granites Pvt. Ltd – a Chennai based granite firm.
