The record for making the biggest apple cake with the dimensions of 4.5ft ×3.5ft with stem was set by the Director of Tourism, Department of Tourism & Civil Aviation along with the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering and Nutrition, Kufri, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. The apple cake was displayed at The Amphitheatre, Gaiety Theatre Complex, The Ridge, Shimla, on September 27, 2019.
