This record was set by Chandra Mouli Varma (born on January 14, 1972) of Bengaluru, Karnataka, on January 27, 2020 wherein, he recited 700 shlokas of Bhagavad Gita in Sanskrit language from 5:12 pm to 6:15 pm, as confirmed on February 4, 2020.
