Monojit Karmakar (born on June 12, 1992) of Burdwan, West Bengal, is appreciated for riding solo for 16000 km on a 150 cc bike (Yamaha R15). He successfully covered 15 states and 5 UTs of India thus covering all the four corners of India. He also visited Turtuk, the last village on the northern side, Zojila Pass, Khardung La pass, and Pangong lake on the North eastern side, as confirmed on September 1, 2020.
