The record for carving out the ‘Daiva Dashakam’ on pencil leads was set by Ajith M. Jayan (born on May 27, 1992) of Ernakulam, Kerala. He diligently carved out 40 lines of the divine poem on 40 different pencil leads, along with the title and the poet’s name carved on another pencil lead, as confirmed on July 16, 2020.
