FIRST DUO TO COMPLETE INTERSTATE CYCLING EXPEDITION

The record for being the first duo to accomplish an interstate cycling expedition covering six states was set by Valluri Pranay Teja (born on August 25, 1994) of Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh. He was accompanied with another person Gade Ramana Reddy and together they covered a distance of 3,200 km in 15 days starting from Howrah Bridge, Kolkata, West Bengal at 0800 hrs on January 31, 2020 cycling through Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and completing on the Gateway of India, Mumbai, Maharashtra at 1000 hrs on February 14, 2020, as confirmed on March 2, 2020.

A SUCCESSFUL MOTORCYCLE EXPEDITION COVERING THE WORLD’S HIGHEST PASSES

The record for completing a successful motorcycle expedition, covering the world’s highest passes, was set by Pintu Dash (born on April 4, 1988) of Dhenkanal, Odisha, along with seven other members of the AMC group. He covered eight of the world’s highest passes in Ladakh including Khardung La, Saser La, Wari La, Chang La, Marsimik La, Kaksang La, Photi La and Taglang La from August 1, 2019 to August 5, 2019, as confirmed on February 20, 2020.

ENERGETIC SEXAGENARIAN CYCLIST

The record for being an energetic sexagenarian cyclist to ride for 50.53 km on the terrace of his house was set by Sudhir Sharma (born on October 28, 1956) of Roorkee, Uttarakhand. He rode 50.53 km on a tiled track of length18.18m; completing 2780 laps in 5 hours, 47 minutes and 43 seconds on two different bikes and stopping 5 times for hydration, at the age of 63 years, as confirmed on May 15, 2020.

YOUNGEST DISTINGUISHED TOASTMASTER

The record for being the youngest distinguished toastmaster was set by Rukhman Singh Rathore (born on August 10, 1997) of Pune, Maharashtra, at the age of 21 years and 4 days. He was recognised as a distinguished toastmaster by Toastmaster International on August 14, 2018, for his outstanding accomplishment and excellence in leadership, as confirmed on May 21, 2020.

The maximum number of e-books published in a single day is 10 and this record was set by Rajesh Sarswat (born on July 1, 1970) of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The e-books titled ‘N.C.E.R.T solutions’ for Maths and Science were published on November 22, 2019 for class VI to XII students, as confirmed on February 20, 2020.

CYCLING COMPETITION COMPLETED BY A COUPLE IN THE LEAST TIME

The record for completing the cycling competition in the least time is 85 hours and 53 minutes and was set by a couple Dr. Prabhat Ranjan Prasad (born on November 29, 1976) of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, along with his wife on November 14, 2019. They covered a distance of 1200 km on their respective cycles at the Brevet competition, which was organised by Audax India Randonneurs, as confirmed on February 3, 2020.

MAXIMUM CARTOON SKETCHES ON IPL

The record for drawing the maximum number of cartoon sketches on IPL was set by Hemant Dhawal (born on September 12, 1995) of Ajmer, Rajasthan. He made 123 sketches using water colours, sketch pens and colour pencil techniques on A4 size papers, as confirmed on February 25, 2020.

The record for being a skilled rice artist was set by Bachan Singh Chouhan (born on April 10, 1972) of Ajmer, Rajasthan. He carved Lord Hanuman, 50 elephants, national anthem and song named ‘Pardesi’ on rice grain, as confirmed on February 12, 2020.
