The record to make a unique saree embellished with a variety of spices was achieved by Dontula Preethi (born on February 23, 1981) of Hyderabad, Telangana, wherein the saree border is made of cinnamon and pallu has nutmeg flowers, pepper, bay leaves and other spices like staranise, green & black cardamom, cloves, small chilies, kapok buds, and stone flowers are spread all over the saree giving it a refreshing fragrance as confirmed on January 11, 2019.
